Storage Auction Benefits Our Community

Helping out the community along with supporting a great cause is just part of what Load and Lock Self Storage is all about. We have two locations, one in Albrightsville PA and the other in Canadensis PA. You may be asking yourself, “how will a storage auction assist those within my community?” Partnering with Charity Storage allows our storage auctions to support the following causes: the American Heart Association, a student heading to college, and a cure for cancer. With your help and donations of items laying around your home, all the causes listed above really benefit!

Charity Storage

Established in 2012, Charity Storage was founded to close the gap between the self storage industry and our community. Using partnerships with storage facilities just like ours throughout the United States, Charity Storage is able to support various communities. Additionally, watching their video below will allow you to understand more about this excellent organization and how it is that you can help!

How To Donate

1. Drop off any items you have that you no longer want or need at either of our self storage facilities in PA.
2. Items are placed into a designated storage unit for Charity Storage, where everything is completely secure.
3. Once the storage unit reaches its max capacity, we will have an online auction.
4. Following the online storage auction, all of the proceeds raised will be split between three different causes.

• 10% = Self Storage Association Scholarship Programs
• 20% = Kure It Cancer Research
• 60% = The American Heart Association

For anyone wanting to donate, you do not have to worry about if you store at either of our facilities or not. Everyone is able to participate! Contact us, and set up a time up that works best for you and a manager to drop off your unwanted items for our storage auction. However, if you are storing with us at either location, make a manager aware of items you want to donate. The manager can then transport the item from your personal storage unit to the Charity Storage unit.
